Since opening in 2016, the Athenaeum Art Center has grown into a creative hub for Logan Heights, with studios, a gallery, classes, workshops, exhibitions, performances, and a fully equipped print shop. For a decade, it has been a place to learn, make, experiment, and connect.
Come celebrate the people, artwork, and creative energy that have shaped the Art Center—and help us kick off its next chapter.

Print Fair, 11 AM–4 PM (Free/RSVP Required)
Browse and shop work by more than 20 local printmakers, explore the Art Center’s studios, and enjoy music from a Barrio Logan-based DJ crew.
The day will also feature:
Food & Drinks: Mujeres Brew House and Tres Marias will be selling food and drinks throughout the event
Free Cold Brew Lemonade: Provecho will be serving free cold brew lemonade to the first 100 attendees
Live Screen Printing: Watch screen printing in action
Live Letterpress: See how prints are made on our letterpress equipment
Hands-On Activities: Try your hand at collage and stamp making
$3 Raffle: Enter to win two linocut kits, a gouache kit, or a free Athenaeum art class of your choice. Raffle winners will be announced at 3:50pm.
Local Vendors, Giveaways & More
Anniversary Party & Secret Sale, 5:30–8:30 PM ($50)
Keep the celebration going with an evening party and the Athenaeum Art Center’s Secret Sale, featuring more than 20 works donated by artists in support of the Art Center’s programs.
The artwork will be displayed without artist names or attribution, each with a set minimum bid. Guests will bid based solely on the work itself. At the end of the evening, the artists’ identities will be revealed.
The Secret Sale will feature artists ranging from emerging local talent to internationally known names—offering a chance to take home original artwork while supporting the Athenaeum Art Center.
The day will also feature:
Live vinyl sets featuring DJ Reyna , DJ Rosas, and DJ Abby Boulevard.
The evening will include food and drinks from local restaurant Alchemy—Choose Thy Poison, with additional food and drinks available for purchase..
Evening tickets are $50 and include food and one drink ticket.
